For centuries, people have seen eagles as a symbol of beauty, bravery, courage, strength, wisdom, and grace. And in some Native tribes, the eagle is considered to be a messenger from the heavens.
I was drawn to paint this majestic creature the first day of 2023. Then I learned, the first bird you see in the New Year is your spirit protector for the year.
Who doesn’t want a spirit protector watching over as a guardian, bearing messages from the heavens, inspiring insight, and offering wisdom?
The soaring of an Eagle inspires awe and as a spirit animal, puts me on notice the winds of change are headed my way and some type of renewal is about to happen.
So, I’m standing up tall, wrapping courage around me, and embracing the winds of change and self-discovery headed my way.
